| - Human Bio - |Like every tree stands on its own Reaching for the sky I stand alone.
Name: Br'ors Turns: 25 Gender: Male Rank: White Rider Sexuality: Heterosexual with some bi-tenancies Weyrmate: None at this time
Appearance: Some men are nothing but muscle, and others are lean and whip like, but Br'ors is neither of the two. Under tan skin is an athletic build of sturdy muscle, formed by a tough personal desire to stay active and useful. Br'ors stands at six feet two inches in height, and looks even taller due to a ridged posture. Turns of work has left scars and burns on varying degrees on his hands and arms, though none so terrible to ruin his appearance completely. Rather it could be said that Br'ors gets his good looks from the roughness of his appearance.
It may also have something to do with his face. While some would find attraction in exotic light or red hair, he has naturally dark hair, which could be called the standard of Pern. His hair is grown a bit longer, just past his ears in wisps of deep black laced through with highlights of deep brown. As far as facial features goes, he is quite proportionate to his build, with an elongated face and high cheekbones. He has narrow eyes, one dark brown in color, the other a faded milky tone, exposing him as being blinded on that one eye.
Minus a few faults, Br'ors could be called a very handsome man, not that you would ever hear him say as much. After all, it is not for one to judge themselves good or bad looking.
Personality: Calculating, calm, yet strong of will, Br'ors tends to come across as rude to most without ever intending to. He has a leaders spirit, though is happy to sit back and just give his opinion when it's needed. He has learned quickly when his voice is needed and when it is not, and is more than happy to allow people a chance to figure things out before speaking up. He determines things without letting his emotions run high, and simply can't
Br'ors biggest flaw is the fact he is just socially confused. He's slow to get to know people, as he would rather be with his Saith than out and about in the Weyr. Few really know much about him, and he knows less about anyone else. Still, you'll never find a man more willing to stick his neck out to help someone, but don't expect him to socialize after that. Between his own dedication to learning all he can in knife fighting, and his care for Saith, he's one tough shell to crack at times.
Not to say he doesn't have a romantic side. It's just well buried for now until such a time as he has truly deep feelings for someone. After all, skin bleeds and heals, but scars of the heart never stop hurting. Why have ones heart out in the open just to risk it getting broken? To calculating Br'ors, it just does not make sense, one solid reason he does not have a weyrmate.
Since the incident that left him blind in one eye, he has become slightly jumpy at being approached from that side. He has also developed a mild temper at the mention of his injury being a weakness. He will outwardly challenge anyone to find a better rider in a knife-fight, even if he has the lack of sharp depth perception. Br'ors will not accept anything to be a weakness, as claiming to be too weak just means it is one more thing to overcome.
History: Brorset was born a holdbrat, plain and simple. His mother, Arset, a once upon a time healer before becoming too ill during her first pregnancy to continue the continue her craft. Her girl was healthy, and she spent turns caring for the girl, only to lose her child to an illness. The distress it caused Arset is probably what led her to her death, hiding the fact she was due to have another child, which simply tore her body over the edge. She delivered a healthy boy, but at the cost of doing far too much harm to herself. She died days after the birth of her son.
Of course, his father was not high enough to afford the time to raise a son, and so Brorset was sent to a foster parent who would be more suited to raising the boy. This was the last time Brorset would see his father as a child, less than a turn old and with no way to remember where he was from other than being told turns later.
Growing up, Brorset was a troublemaker, like many young boys can be. Of course, he was more of a follower at the time, and just went along with what other boys were doing. As time wore on, he became more of a leader, and less of a troublemaker, until his eleventh turn. That was when he was given the task of picking a craft to enter into, and start training. He might have gone into the smith craft, if he had not been searched in that same turn.
It was a glorious day, as the quiet but kind boy was brought to the attention of a green on search. When the dragon declared he would have potential, wings formed in Brorsets heart, allowing him to really think he had a shot at what every boy at least once dreamed of. Of course, had he known that this would mean several long turns of standing. Finally, after what seemed forever, cutting it so close to the end of when he might be able to stand for a clutch, a voice cried to to him on the sands.
Saith needs help! He did not know where the voice came from, but at the same time he saw a woman dart out to break open the egg of a white. Another cry, this one weaker, entered his mind. Please help Saith out! That put the puzzle together in his mind. Like the woman who darted out to help that white hatch, he ran forward, now frantic to get the unhatched egg open. No other hatchling would call for help out if it could get out itself.
It took a huge effort to break the shell and free his little Saith from the inside. That was the end of that. Br'ors and Saith, an pair that could not be separated from one another. Of course, Saith had disadvantages in lessons, being so small, but over time they faced and beat these challenges. Br'ors, still young, learned the hard way he did not know everything, just as his White realized similar life lessons.
Of course, he fell fast into the world of flights in the few times Saith chased. Normally, he was too small to hope for a chance, and they walked away with hurt pride. Then there was that fateful flight, when the call of the weyrs female white rising was heard. Set on not failing in this, Saith flew with the determination of his hurt pride on the line, and they were rewarded to be the ones who caught Luaralane and Hopeth.
Since then, they have made the transfer to Akum Weyr. Spending almost the next whole turn as Weyrleader, he learned the ins and outs of Akum, and slowly grew to to know the people of the Weyr. Still, it was nice to take a step down to the rank of Junior in favor of a gold and bronze pair. Still, he will never forget the fascinating clutch of Hopeth hatching. Just like everyone else, he was amazed by the new strange colors, though being a white rider himself, he is willing to accept them rather easily.
Other: Br'ors is ambidextrous, a skill he was born with but rarely uses.
| - Dragon Bio - |
Name: Saith Turns: Six Turns Color: White Color code: C0D9D9
Appearance: White... what a misleading title. Saith is anything but blank of color in any sort of light. In the direct light, his wing membranes are tinted a faint powder blue. Other shadows of this faint blue are visible over his body, but on his wings are by far the most noticeable. Physically, he is of average height for a white, though his frame is just a little longer. His tail, torso, neck, and even his head are elongated, giving Saith the look of a very large white runner to those with an active imagination.
In the matter of small details, Saith has delicate looking small forefeet, and clear talons. His tail bears a single scar, a faint green line against bright white hide. Br'ors works hard to keep him clean against any kind dirt, though it does tend to show more marks where there are old scars or scrapes.
Personality: Saith is a calm dragon by nature. It takes mountains moving and the ground splitting to really shake him. He has a very patient temper, and would take nothing less than a threat to the life of his rider or himself to draw him over the edge into true anger and rage. He prefers to talk out any sort of issue if it is possible, a skill one has to learn as a smaller dragon. He simply does not have the bulk to back up threats of force, and is acutely aware of that fact.
He's proud to a fault, and can seem a bit uppity at times. Most can ignore this bit of him, since it does not make itself known very often. The only time he acts like this is when he thinks he has been insulted or is showing off. Saith is a bit of a big talker, making up for his small size with bigger words, and very much is constantly aware of this fact. One could call it an inferiority complex, though Saith would deny it until the accuser was blue in the face.
Like Br'ors, he has a deeper side where he cares about others. unlike his rider though, he is a little more open and sharing. If he likes a person or dragon they are meeting, he has no qualm about making such feeling clear, just as he is upfront about dislike. Obviously Saith is no tender heart for prey creatures, he does need to eat, but he will show care for other dragons or humans in need.
Other: He does not like being alone if he can help it.
| - Firebird Information - |
Name: Lady Turns: Hatchling Species: Firebird
Appearance: Being a two-toned firebird, this fire-bird is a rare beauty. Though her main color is a deep amethyst color, this is not the only color that she has on her though. This firebird also has a beautiful sapphire blue on her flaming “feathers” as well. To be honest, the blue on this bird looks like she had dipped the tips of her feathers into paint and let it dry. But this isn’t the only thing blue about this firebird though. She also seems to have a odd almost star like marking on her left shoulder that’s just as blue as her tips. This star like mark can only be seen when her wings are spread or when she is flying. Though this may be true, it defiantly seems to add to the cuteness of the two-tone. A mix of two of the bigger fire-birds, this firebird was surprisingly petit when she hatched from the purple and blue egg. Of course, this fire-bird is indeed going to grow to be her normal size eventually. But at the moment, her body is about one foot and her wings are about two feet. This little girls feather like flames lay elegantly flat against her frame for the most part and her eyes are the same color as the her "feather" tips.
Personality: This girl seems to be a very happy-go-lucky sort of girl and she seems to hold the normal respect of a purple firebird. She doesn’t really seem to get angry all that much and she loves to just sit and enjoy the presence of others around her. She usually remains quiet and attentive for the most part around others and doesn't really like to be the center of attention at all. Though this maybe true, she would much rather avoid big crowds much like her blue siblings. She is nowhere as reclusive as her blue brothers though. In fact, she likes to be around others as long as they are respectful, kind, and not intimidating. She is willing to put up with pretty much anything as long as her Br'ors is there with her though. This is mainly because she knows he will protect her if she needs protecting. This girl is also a little clumbsy as well, but she recovers quickly if she falls or runs into something. She doesn't really seem to mind the fact that she is clumbsy all that much as long as people aren't staring at her because of it.
Of course, being part blue, this girl does seem to have some reclusive moments in which she simply just wishes to be left alone. But these are not as common as her wanting to be around her Br’ors. Like all purples, this girl loves music and she enjoys singing along with it as long as it doesn’t irritate anyone around her. If she does irritate anyone, she seems to stop instantly out of respect for them. She is also very curious and will often disappear to go check something out or possibly even spy on someone on occasion. Of course, the spying is only used to sedate her curiosity of things. Being more timid then she would like to admit, this two-toned fire-bird is very easily scared by new things that are bigger then her and look dangerous. This is mainly probably because she is so small though and could be easily crushed. When she is scared, this fire-bird tends to run and hide behind her owner in the hopes that he can protect her from the big scary things. Even though half of the time she doesn’t even need to be protected.
Other: This firebird can clutch the usual size for a purple even though she is toned with blue. This is probably because she has the base of a purple though.

He looks fantastic! Now all we have to do is wait until Yamamoto states he is finished with his application and we admins will take a comb through both of the application to find out which character will be best for the weyr. I am sorry for the wait. It shouldn't take us very long to pick through them though ^^
