Appearance: Illiana's build was not exactly blessed when it came to size. She ended up on the small side, about 5'2", and still dislikes that little disadvantage. Even though she is short, Illiana has a nice composure. Her skin is a light tan and it never burns unless the day is very sunny and hot. Liana is graceful in the way she walks except for a small limp from an accident in her weyrbrat days. Upon her legs are reminders of the past. Scars from herdbeasts, warnings from Watch-Whers, and angry felines are visible on the girl though many are beginning to fade away.

Illiana is adorned with dark hazel eyes. Her almond shaped eyes are golden near the pupil and dark green on the iris rim. Between the pupil edge and the outer edge of the iris, a whirlwind of color resides in shades of browns and greens. Liana's hazel eyes are framed by charcoal black tassels that are always cascading down her back. The tips of her black hair look as though they were dipped into silver ink. The coloring never fades and you must look closely to notice the silver line.

To bring out her eyes, the girl prefers wearing earthy colors. Her attire is usually made up of green or golden brown tunics accompanied with black or dark brown breeches. Illiana will wear the occasional dress of red or white, but very rarely. For her jewelry, she always has on a corded string with a simple locket strung on it. For feasts or hatchings, Illiana will wear small silver earrings and a simple silver necklace.

Personality: Illiana is a fun-loving person with an easy temper who can be a bit arrogant at times. Although being a Queenrider hasn't gone to her head, Illiana sometimes thinks her way is best, but that is only due to her young age. When the pressure is getting heavy, Illiana can become quite capricious and nervous. When she is feeling great and happy-go-lucky, Liana can think straight and never wavers in her decisions.

Illiana is a born leader who knows how to take control of a bad situation. She knows how to make others feel good about themselves even though she has trouble doing so for herself. Illiana has a caring heart that has never seen a boundary to love. The young Goldrider is extremely protective of her dragon, Dyamoth, and her Weyr aka family. She does all she can to make sure everyone is alright, but she is only one person setting a goal way too high. Along with her protective side comes a wild imagination. Illiana has been known to dream a lazy day away as she writes small poems. These are days when she feels the pressure getting to her too. Sometimes, she will find a place to hide and just cry. Despite her emotional issues, Illiana is a wonderful person with tons of spunk.

History: Young Illiana was born just as her mother, a Greenrider, died. The healer who assisted Ryn's mother in labor was allowed to take the newborn babe to one of the women in the Lower Caverns. The woman had recently had a baby boy herself and welcomed the young girl into her small family. Illiana grew up a cheerful little child with her adopted brother Koray as a companion. The young girl always knew she wasn't from her foster mother's family, yet she was not curious about her birth parents except once.

Illiana had wanted to know how her parents looked due to some recent teasing about her height. Her foster mother told the worried weyrbrat that her parents were good looking people. Liana learned that she was an exact copy of her late mother with the exception of her eyes. They had her father's symphony of color. Soon after that small event, Liana's foster mother died from an unknown illness (cancer) when the child was six. Illiana fell into a depression while her brother was sad for a bit and then got over his grief.

The young child remained sad and lonely for about two turns. During that time, Ana would go for long walks and study the scenery. She would return to where she and Koray were kept and begin drawing what she remembered but in an abstract style. Ana became quite skilled in this artwork and started to add poems to her drawing. One day, Illiana to began to act like her usual leader-like self. It was like someone who had never seen the light before. She slowly crept out of her shell, returning to normal within a few weeks.

Illiana grew up to be a beautiful girl in the Weyr. She wasn't noticed much because she loved to go on walks by herself and just enjoy nature. The Headwoman began to discourage the girl from her nature hikes in fear that she would be caught in Threadfall. By then, Akum Weyr was already low on dragonriders. When Queen Myndith Clutched a healthy number of dragon eggs, Illiana was among those chosen as candidates. When the Hatching occurred, Illiana waited and waited. It seemed like no dragonet would choose her for their special Chosen. She lost interest in the dragons emerging from the eggs until a forceful nudge knocked her over.

Her hazel eyes looked up to see the glimmering face of Queen Dyamoth. Everyone was shocked by the Queen's choice in her rider for there girls the Weyrleaders preferred over Illiana. No matter what happened, they could not change Dyamoth's choice. When Thread fell again and the White Fire-Bird saved the Weyr, Illiana fell in love with the beautiful creatures For a while now, she hopes to Impress one in the clutch.

Name: Dyamoth (Dya)

Appearance: Dyamoth is a large golden dragoness with a fiery personality to match. Her body is like a sculpture, each curve and bend distinct upon her hide. Dya walks with feline grace and great dignity. When she moved, muscles can be traced on her shining hide. The strength in her lithe body is easily seen when she leaps into the sky. Her only physical hindrance is an old wound from when she Hatched. Dyamoth makes sure to hide the limp when she walks, but it is impossible to do so when leaping into the air. Along with her sleek form, Dyamoth's wings are like golden clouds when stretched to their full length.

Dya's coloring is unusual. She is a Rose Gold or Gold color with a rose pink hue. The shade upon her hide glows darker then it really is in the light of fire and sun. Layered upon the Queen's Rose Gold body are dark gold stripes like a tiger. The markings give her a look of great power none can match. Her face is also striped, but the markings resemble a crown instead of stripes.

Personality: Dyamoth is every bit a Queen dragon. She likes to be the one in control of Akum' activities and greatly dislikes being ignored. Vanity is the key component in this Queen's personality. She always feels the need to be clean and sparkling in the sunlight. If some place on her golden hide looks anywhere near dirty, the Gold will beg Illiana for a bath. Along with each bath comes a long session of oiling Dyamoth's elegant limbs. These rather long sessions sometimes take the help of a few drudges.

Despite the need to be perfect and better then any plain lusty Green, Dyamoth is a social butterfly. She loves to talk and be with any Brown or Bronze that will listen to her ramblings. Even though talking is her favorite past time, excluding bath time, Dyamoth will never tell lies. She prefers to squash rumors as flat as any annoying insect so others in her Weyr are not hurt in anyway. Dya is considerate of how others feel as long as they are good of heart. The Queen cares for each of the dragons in Akum Weyr as though they were of her own clutch. She leads them as best she can even though she is young and has not Risen to mate. Well, not yet anyway.
